I wonder why I waited until I was almost 70 years old before a got a stand mixer. At first, I was a little concerned about getting a refurbished mixer, but it looks and acts like it is brand new. I even got the color I wanted. I can't stop making things. It is a real game changer. I love it.

I bought this in October so I would have it for Thanksgiving and Christmas cooking and baking - I used it once and when I went to use it on Thanksgiving, it would not work - the motor would not spin and it sounded horrible. Tried calling today as they were not open on Friday or Saturday because of the holiday, could not get through for 25 minutes and when I did, I was told I need a different department and put on hold again, this time the wait was for 79 minutes...the online chat feature is worse as that had a 154 minute wait to talk to someone. This is very poor for a company that is suppose to be excellent. The mixer I am replacing was a used Kitchen Aid mixer, not refurbished, that I bought 20 years ago. This the my first time dealing with Kitchen Aid directly, so far, I am not impressed.

I recently purchased a Pro 600 Series 6 Quart-Bowl Lift Stand Mixer and I absolutely love it. I like the fact that it's easy to operate and has plenty of power to handle mixing bread dough. I make bread frequently and this machine does the hard work for me. Very very Happy Baker !!
