I use this for mixing bread dough and I've used it once for grinding pork loin. Great machine, only give it 4 stars because I'm waiting for the 7 quart glass bowl to be offered. I would like to use this for mixing my sourdough starter but I can't do that with a metal bowl. So aside from that - highly recommend!

I'm not sure why anyone would buy new. My mixer arrived in nearly perfect condition. It took a few days to notice only one very minor scratch. It replaces a 5 quart Artisan which provided very good service. However, the 7 quart is stronger and much quieter. I couldn't be more satisfied.

This was a gift from my uncle and I love it. this is my 3rd kitchen aid and I would not consider another brand. I bake lots of sweet treats and bread of all types. This mixer allows me to triple my batches with ease!
