Unfortunately, i've had problems with this toaster from the start. Bought this toaster less than a year ago!!! From the start it was a fight each time to keep the right side of the toaster down, had to play and wiggle until it held in place. Now, the handle/lever on the right side has broken off. Not sure if i'll replace the handle since it's a pain to keep the lever down in place or should I wait for the left side to break also and buy another brand of toaster. I have a KitchenAid fridge, dishwasher and stove for 8+ years without any issues. Unfortunately, this toaster does not hold up to the high standard of this brand!

Needed a new toaster; decided every Kitchenaid product I’d ever bought worked well, and this does not disappoint whatsoever! Well-busily out of durable materials, with smooth-operating controls, and intelligently thought out design, we are highly impressed with this product! The toaster functions flawlessly, fits any size bread, and toasts event, and quickly. Will be buying as gifts this Christmas for those I know who are not fortunate enough to have experienced the excellence of Kitchenaid products yet!
