We built a new home and purchased all Maytag appliances because of the reputation for dependability. After experiencing problems With 2 other of these appliances, this is good so far Like the features of this washer and clothes are clean I just wish the cycle signal would be louder

Bought this machine after several years of buying used washers and was finally fed up with the used ones dying to fast. Good power, direct drive motor and super quite. The 12hr stay fresh feature is nice when I know I won't get to the washed stuff for a few hours.

There were a lot of issues getting this washer home, I reviewed the included instructions, to understand how to work this machine, all of it capabilities and functions, as this was my first front load washer. Even though I did read all the instructions I still have issues getting it to work properly. It does function well, not great, but fair, if and when I have to replace it, I am not sure I would purchase this model again. As to recommending it to someone else, I would probably recommend it, but only if someone has experience with this type of washer.
