all is great, but the meat in the freezer was ruined when the alarm did not go off for a partial opined door. warranty repair people are coming out Monday

Our freezer was installed 5/14/22 and we are happy with the performance. Although it is a garage unit, we have it in our home. We initially had it set for 6 degrees F but lowered it to 0 as the ice cream sandwiches seemed not cold enough. Read online that freezers should be at zero degrees F. Easy to set. Purchased a freezer thermometer as a backup and it’s working well at the set temperature. Our first upright freezer. Did not want a chest as it’s difficult to remember what’s at the bottom of the freezer and you end up with frozen hands digging your way down.

Unit was delivered, installed and down to freezer factory setting within 1 hour. Unit comes with temperature display on exterior door so unit can be monitored without having to open. Glass shelving a nice touch to contain any type of mess and easier to clean than wire shelves.
