I've only had this for a month or so and it's doing very well for us. We immediately filled it with frozen items and the shelves and door space held everything. The size of it is more than sufficient for us as a 2 person family and it doesn't take up much space which is good since we downsized from one house to another. It runs very quietly, nice!

For the longest time we had a chest freezer in our garage and we hated it. Always having to unpack the whole thing to get something. Our new Maytag though solved all the issues. Not only is it spacious and easy to see everything at one glance, it has very robust shelves and a nice bright light in the cabinet. Great construction and a nice flat plug for the outlet is an extra touch of smart design. Would highly recommend! The only issue I had was it shipped without the rear rollers so moving it around was a little extra work. Thankfully the freezer is light though. It would also be nice to have one more shelf rack. Still would highly recommend though and have zero regrets making this purchase!

For a 16 cubic upright freezer, this was priced right. Lots of shelf positions, good lighting and quiet operation with a adjustable door as well. On the down side, extra shelves are expensive, and you will need at least one, the temp control isn't very adjustable, only factory presents, and the heat is exited on the sides and top, so you can't put stuff on top of the freezer. But still is a good value, hope it last longer then the Frigidaire, which died at 4 years.
