Had to return the first one because it was practically snowing in the freezer. Tons of frost on everything and some ice. The opposite with the fridge which was to warm to safely use. Had to wait weeks for a new one to be delivered. Lived with a cooler on my counter to keep milk and etc. cold and safe. New one came with slight dent on side. Was told I could use it till new one came in a FEW WEEKS! Said I would just keep the damaged one. At this point I was at my wits end. New one works fine. No complaints.

I purchased this when my 7 year old bottom freezer fridge died...for the 2nd time. I chose this Whirlpool because it is a 2018 version of the 26 year old one that I have in the garage that is still working fine! I have only had this 1 week so I can't really comment much except to say that it seems to be more lightweight than my old one. The door doesn't feel as solid...and when shutting or opening it things on the door tend to fall over ...or out. I would say this is a basic fridge, no bells or whistles. I will know more in a year.
