I bought this a few weeks ago to replace the Sunbeam Mixmaster I got for a wedding gift 48 years ago. Although my Mixmaster still worked, I wanted one with a larger bowl and more power. I'm happy with my Artisan mixer so far, although I wish it had come with the Flex Edge Beater instead of the Nylon-Coated Flat Beater--it's a pain to have to flip a switch to tilt the head back in order to scrap the bowl.

This mixer is fabulous. I have used it for cookies, cakes, breads, fresh pasta and it whips everything up wonderfully. Easy to use and clean. I have a couple of attachments and they are easy to install and use. Highly recommend to any cook or baker!
