I needed to replace my old mixer (which was not a kitchenaid). I wanted a splatter shield plus a handle on the mixing bowl. This mixer is great. It is so easy to use and clean. I only tried it once so far and love it.

I don't know what took me so long to purchase 'my own' KitchenAid Mixer. I purchased them for both of my daughters. Finally it was my turn! What a treat to have in my kitchen! Baking is fun again! Everyone is reaping the reward as I am able to double and triple recipes and share the extra with friends and family. I love having the freedom of not holding the mixer and trying to add ingredients at the same time. I love my new KichenAid mixer!
